This was a project I did while I was at Halon Entertainment, the goal of this project was to create a AR gallery. We scanned a few gallery pieces and cleaned them up one of those art piece was these Old People.
Patrick Surace went to the museum to capture the art pieces he used a camera and a RTC 360 Lidar. I aligned the Lidar data in Register 360 and then handed it off to Pat for Reality Capture alignment. We then gave it back to me for Zbrush clean up, we then split the job of lowering the meshes and UVing. I was then the one to clean up the textures, the male glasses, watch and female watch. The hair had to run in AR so it could not be to dense or use a complicated shader. The amazing Lindsy was in charge of the hair.
We then made the gallery in Unreal but the renders in this post are from Red Shift done by Patrick Surace. I will post more about the clean up prosses in another post.
