Here is another project I had the chance to work on while at Halon, It is a diorama of a cave that can be viewed in AR. This cave is made up of 7 different scans, the main scan of the cave was taken by myself Patrick Surace and Justin Olsen. That scan is the actual inside of the cave (Red) in the image below. The other pieces that are making up the outside are scans from a state park in California.
After kit bashing the cave in Zbrush I took it into Maya for Quad Drawing in order to make the cave and all of its pieces one cohesive piece. After UV's where completed I moved on to baking and transferring some of the original scan color data over to the new low poly mesh. For the rest of the color I layered smart materials and masks over one another in Substance Painter. All of the foliage is from Mega Scans, this was a fun quick little project.
